Sexy Geeky Influence

Me: Hi. When I try to print manual feed for one page of the document, I can’t and the status of the printer doesn’t change, it stays at Ready but when I press manual feed for the entire document it prints no problem.

Them: Is there paper in the printer?

Me: Umm no, I don’t think so and actually my computer isn’t making any noise and there only a small orange light. Yesterday the entire thing was lit up.

Me: YES THERE IS PAPER IN THE BL**DY PRINTER

Fast Like a Banana

I had my first Deep Tissue massage this weekend. The therapist was sort of ok but the effects were amazing. We arrived five minutes late and instead of being ready, she only made me wait longer and then there was the issue of this form I had to fill out where I had to tell her my medical life history from where I was born to whether or not I had Aids.

Twenty minutes later and finally the party starts. I'm told that even though I booked a deep tissue massage - she is a "holistic" masseur and will give me what she thinks I need. She then asks me what I want her to focus on and I thought about it and said "my back and my feet" to which she replies "I don't usually do feet."

Her business card said reflexologist. That's in the feet, right? Maybe its about pricing or something.

Anyway, for all of her lousy attitude and the comment that she had hurt her shoulder which is the real reason I didn't get deep tissue, the massage was amazing and afterwards I felt blissful. I think I might go back for more.

hidden news

You probably haven’t heard about the severely bad weather affecting the Andean communities in Peru as between Beckham moving to Los Angeles and the cash for honors scandal there just isn’t any room on the BBC website for real news. Enough bitterness and moving along – so far the weather has killed 65 children, caused over 6000 cases on pneumonia, completely obliterated this year’s crop supply and much of the livestock.

Fighting the Paranoia

After my experiences in Mexico, I find it really hard to keep the paranoia getting to me. Am I doing my job ok? Does my writing sound ludicrous and can I be taught or will I always be this ludicrous? Do I have the right attitude? Am I making the wrong types of comments? Should I have been that honest? Should I shut up? ARE THEY GOING TO FIRE ME YET???

I work as hard as I can but after days upon days of achieving nothing and always fighting to in Mex, I achieve alot in my new job (its all relative of course) and by the time the evening arrives - Im wrecked! I couldnt do overtime, even if I wanted to!

And away it all goes

I had forgotten what it is like to live in London. I had forgotten the amazing selection of food, the restaurants, the people, the fact that you can walk everywhere, the Tube (dirty but glorious), the small back gardens and the love of sun.

I had forgotten why Londoners love the sun. I mean since I have been here I have seen it twice and both times were life changing events!! I think I almost went blind on one occasion. . .

I had forgotten about the weekends that get filled up months in advance and if you don't have one booked you consider it a gift rather than boring . . . it rocks! enough babbleando though.

Alex went to work last Tuesday and basically hasn't come home since. It's been quite crazy because if this had been Mexico, I would have pined after him every second of the day trying to figure out what he was doing and why he wasn't replying to any of my messages.

Now however - no time! I had two whole hours to myself tonight! Two Whole Hours. Guess what I did? I watched the television. No really! I really did.

I have to go to bed but I just wanted to say hello before I did. Good night x
